For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to sing and to help others sing.
I grew up in a big musical family. My mother was the lead singer among ten siblings, and all I ever wanted was to sing with her. Music was always around me, and it became the language I understood best.
When my brother was born and as more cousins came along, my favorite thing was to gather all the children, teach them songs and poems, and put together little performances for the adults. It brought me so much joy—and even then, I knew this was something special.
No matter how many detours life took me on, I always found my way back to those two things. Since then I knew, deep down, that this is my purpose.
a home for all of them
A place where everything could come together. And so, Luiza Singing Lab was born.
Since completing my studies and moving to Luz, a series of musical projects began unfolding naturally. That’s when I realized I needed a home for all of them—a place where everything could come together. And so, Luiza Singing Lab was born.
This is a space where everyone can find their voice. Whether you're looking for classical vocal training, a musical retreat, or just a casual gathering to sing with others—there’s a project here for you.
I believe deeply in the power of singing—especially singing together. It’s transformative, and it should be accessible to everyone, in their own unique way.
I am here to carry that work into the world offering others the same space to grow, express, and shine.
Over the years, I’ve been continually amazed by how much hidden talent remains unseen—simply because no one was there to encourage it. I was lucky. Two incredible teachers, Filomena Amaro and Sasja Hunnego, gave me the confidence to believe in myself. Without their kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support, I don’t know where I’d be.
Luiza Voice Lab is in many ways their legacy. It shows how far a kind word can carry.
